Dear Mr. Norman Wasserman:

Thank you so much for your generous and amazing leadership in organizing and running a successful fundraising concert that helped raise several thousand dollars to assist in the recovery effort for so many of our fellow citizens in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico affect by hurricanes in 2017. There is no question your significant efforts, experience and skills were instrumental in making this event a real success!

As you know, Lions International helps needy families and individuals domestically and internationally that go without proper food, shelter, and essential medical care every day due to a variety of factors including natural disasters, financial need, injuries, illness or age. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, children and the elderly are at the most risk, and they make up a significant number of those we serve.

With the generous support of people like you, we are able to help many of these families and individuals not only to meet essential daily needs, but to work toward a brighter future.

Thank you again, and we look forward to your continued support and collaboration in future endeavors.

Sincerely, Cindy Perlman Plainview Bethpage Lions Club

Dear Norman,

I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks for your donation concert on May 06, 2017. Your support of the AMT Children of Hope Foundation/Baby Safe Haven Program is greatly appreciated. Charity, as the saying goes, begins at home. I believe this is true, but I also believe that many people define “home” simply as the space they inhabit. To me, “home” represents our greater community. In lending your hand to help others, you are embracing this belief and creating a community that respects every life and provides a loving and kind home where those in need can turn for support when facing unexpected and extremely overwhelming challenges.

The AMT Children of Hope Foundation was established to save newborns from abandonment by offering a positive alternative for birthparents coping with crisis pregnancies. Our all-volunteer organization provides birthmothers with confidential help and reassurance that they are not alone. When a birthmother reaches out for assistance, we offer counseling, discuss all of her options and assist her in pursuing whichever one she chooses—to make a parenting plan, work out an adoption plan or safely and anonymously relinquish her baby with no questions asked—her legal right under the Safe Haven Law which has successfully passed in all fifty states.

We also work diligently to educate the public about the Baby Safe Haven Program to ensure that those who may need it know about it. Our Public Service Announcements have been a great success. This year, the crisis hotline received 2,325 calls: 81 birthmothers chose a parenting plan and were placed in local mother/child programs; 11 opted to make adoption plans; and 16 relinquished their newborns under the Safe Haven Law. As of today we have save 3,317 infants have been safely relinquished to date. While we are pleased to report these success stories, a great deal of work lies ahead. In 2016, we had the sad duty of arranging funerals for 1 newborn victim of neonaticide. They are resting at peace at the Island of Hope at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.

Our goal is to reduce the number of infant deaths resulting from crisis pregnancies and abandonment to zero. Your contributions, attendance at our fundraising events and efforts to spread the word about the Baby Safe Haven Law are making this possible. In fact, 100 percent of your donation directly supports programs to prevent infant abandonment and provide care for those in need. Thank you again for your generous contribution and God bless you.

Sincerely,

Timothy Jaccard

Norman Wasserman of Friend Entertainment is an incredible human being who went above and beyond what anyone would to assure the success of our fundraiser.

His act (Badlands) was incredible and the band members were amazing people as well.

Norman practically ran the entire show, mentored our staff, and was always there when we needed him.

I recommend his company most heartily!

Please feel free to call me if you have any other questions.

P.S. I have heard that his Motown act is one of the best anywhere! He raves about them!

Yours in Service,

To Whom It May Concern,

It is a pleasure and without reservation that I write this letter of recommendation for Norman Wasserman and Friend Entertainment USA.

I had the opportunity to work with Friend Entertainment USA for multiple shows with our Athletic Booster Club in the past. I can’t say enough about not only the professionalism of Norman but also about his ability to guide us through what proved to be a very profitable method of raising funds for our organization. His experience and leadership were instrumental in helping us create enjoyable and positive entertainment experiences for the members of our school community. We could not have done it without him.

From our initial planning meeting to the night of the shows his hands on approach made it a project that was fun and painless for all involved. I can’t thank Norman enough for his commitment to our goals and keeping us on task.

Without a doubt Friends Entertainment USA can be an asset to your organization, club or community group. Should you be looking for a first class entertainment idea to raise funds I would recommend that you contact them first.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Donald Webster

"Norm, I wanted to thank you for all that you did to make our 12th Annual Client Appreciation event our most successful event to date.

Beginning with your assistance in getting "Shadows of the 60's" booked, coordinating the availability of dates, working with the Keswick Theatre in preparation of the event and just "taking control", you were very professional and made it happen!!!!

BIRE Financial had never done anything to the extent of this event, and not only were we pleased with the final result, we have booked you and your organization again for our 13th Annual event scheduled for October 28, 2017.

I'm already counting the days!!!!"

HI NORMAN –

WITH ALL THE SHOWS YOU’VE DONE OVER THE YEARS, I’M PRETTY SURE YOU WON’T REMEMBER ME. I WAS THE PRINCIPAL AT A SMALL LUTHERAN SCHOOL (ST. MARK’S) IN YONKERS. WE SPONSORED A DOO-WOP SHOW HELD AT BAYSIDE HS IN 2008. OUR BIG HEADLINERS WERE FRANKIE LYMON’S TEENAGERS (HERMAN SANTIAGO ONE OF THE ORIGINALS) STILL IN THE GROUP, THE PASSIONS, EARL LEWIS AND THE CHANNELS, WILLIE WINFLIED AND THE HARPTONES, AND SAMMY SAX AND THE MD’S. THE OTHER THING I ESPECIALLY REMEMBER WAS KAYLA STARR – A YOUNG GIRL (ABOUT 10) WHO LOVED DOO-WOP AND WAS JUST STARTING OUT. ANYWAY, JEANNETTE (NOW MY WIFE) AND I MOVED TO FLORIDA AFTER RETIRING IN 2012 – TO CENTRAL FLORIDA (KISSIMMEE). WE STILL SPEAK FONDLY OF OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THAT SHOW AND WITH YOU. OUR 55+ COMMUNITY (AS YOU MIGHT GUESS) HAS MANY CLUBS IN IT (220+) AND ONE WE JOINED IS CALLED “OLDIES BUT GOODIES”. WE MEET ONCE A MONTH FOR A DANCE AND LISTEN TO ALL THE GREAT SONGS FROM THE 50’S AND 60’S ESPECIALLY. BELIEVE IT OR NOT LENNY WELCH DID A GIG HERE SEVERAL YEARS BACK AND LOVED THE COMMUNITY SO MUCH HE SND HIS WIFE BOUGHT A HOUSE AND NOW LIVE HERE. ANYWAY, I APPRECIATE BEING KEPT IN THE LOOP, AS IT WERE, BY RECEIVING THE EMAILS FROM FRIEND ENTERTAINMENT USA. JEANNETTE AND I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST. STAY WELL AND SAFE. BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOURS.

THE PAST MY HUSBAND AND I WERE VERY PRIVLEDGED TO HAVE BEEN IN ATTENDANCE AT A LOT OF YOUR SHOWS WITH THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS AND EVEN TWO OF YOUR WONDERFUL CRUISES THAT YOU PUT TOGETHER. WE WENT WITH FRIENDS AND A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL, AT ALL OF YOUR SHOWS, AT QUEENS COLLEGE, BELLMORE , AND VARIOUS SCHOOL AUDITORIUMS ON LONG ISLAND AND LETS NOT FORGET THE CRUISES ON CARNIVAL LINES.

>UNFORTUNATELY , DO TO ILLNESS AND OTHER THINGS WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND ANY OF YOUR TRIBUTE SHOWS BUT THINGS ARE GOOD NOW AND WE DO LIVE VERY CLOSE TO WHERE YOU HAVE YOUR SHOWS AND WE WILL BE ATTENDING YOUR TRIBUTE SHOWS.

THE REASON I AM WRITING IS TWO FOLD, TO TELL YOU WE ARE HAPPY YOU ARE STILL BRINGING US THIS CLASSIC MUSIC AND TO FIND OUT IF IN THE FURTURE YOU MIGHT BE THINKING OF HAVING A TRIBUTE CRUISE PLANNED. IF YOU DO MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT ATTENDING. DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS IN THE WORKS, IF NOT, WE WILL BE AT THE TRIBUTE SHOWS VERY SOON AND MAYBE WE WILL GET A CHANCE TO SAY HI TO YOU. I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE PASSED YOUR WAY OVER THE YEARS AND I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO REMEMBER US BUT WE REMEMBER YOU AND ALL THE JOY AND ENTERTAINMENT YOU BROUGHT OUR WAY, AND WE WILL DEFINETLY STOP BY AND SEE YOU AT ONE OF YOUR SHOWS.>THANK YOU AND CONTINUED GOOD LUCK TO YOU IN YOUR QUEST TO KEEP THIS MUSIC ALIVE.

Dear Norman,

Thank you for very much for helping our organization with this event on November 21, 2014 at the Bellmore Theater. This was our first official fundraiser for a great cause in developing a mediation/conflict resolution community center.

Your professionalism and expertise in assisting me in selling tickets, promoting the show and being there on that evening to make sure all was in place and ready to go was invaluable. Everyone had a great time. The band even came out for two additional songs and ended later than the original time of 9:30pm.

I look forward to working with you again in the future.

Thank you again for your support.

Very truly yours,

Jeffrey M. Bloom
